Why book numbers and book types? (Fred's first blog)

The book numbers give the order in which I read the books. (The date I read the book is my best recollection, so is approximate.) When studying a topic by reading books, the order read can affect how one feels about that book type. A lousy first book may turn one off, whereas a great first book may make you eager to read more of that book type.  Read more
